So far this year, it’s earned: $0

I can’t say it enough but THANKS to everyone for your participation in all of our events, meetings etc. We could not do this without you and every little bit goes a long way.

Mulch Day

Just a few snap shots from Saturday’s Mulch Day. We would like to thank all of the volunteers for pitching in and getting everything done so quick to make the school look great.

I was very excited to see so many of you show up with your tools and get down to business.  We finished with an entire dump truck load of mulch in about an hour and 20 minutes; and a big thanks to the local businesses who made donations to make the day a success.

Shepard Lamar & Sons  (Shaun Teasley) – Tunnel Hill

Shoney’s – Walnut Ave. for the sausage biscuits,

Daylight Donuts – 41 Hwy for the donuts

Remember to thank these businesses for helping our school!  With the rough economy I am very glad they decided to help out and give to us.

**Daylight Donuts is now under New Management and will be open in the afternoons very soon – stop in and thank them for supporting Dug Gap and try something from their menu!**

Thanks!

“We would like you parent volunteers to know how very much we appreciate you! Our new library/media center could not have been ready to open for another week or so , if it weren’t for you and your giving, caring attitude. When one gives of oneself, the gift received back is knowing that YOU have made a difference in the lives of others. We offer our heartfelt gratitude. Thank you!

Library Help

Hello
I am sending out a call for helpers! Our new librarian Ms. Spriggs and Ms. Jo have been working very hard to get the library put back together, but they need some help. A few parents have already been helping and thank you to them. If you have some free time they would love for you to come help with whatever you are willing to do. They are there working from 8 to about 2:30 and are anxious to get things ready for the kids!

Thanks in advance!

New School

Hi All!
Misty and I went by the school today to see how it looks. It looks so great! So much brighter and newer. The kids are going to love it. The outside however is another issue. From construction the grounds are full of trash and the landscaping looks jungle-like. So Wednesday night we are going to attack it. All are welcome to come help!
